Siemens VAI Metals Technologies GmbH & Co, one of the leading global players amongst metallurgic plant manufacturers in the iron and steel industry and world market leader in pickling technologies, awarded to ACREG Process Technology GmbH the contract for building a new turnkey fluidised bed hydrochloric acid regeneration plant and tankfarm for DUNAFERR Danube Ironworks, Hungary.
The order comprises the complete engineering as well as delivery of goods and erection supervision. The order is the basis for a future cooperation which enables Siemens VAI Metals Technologies GmbH & Co together with ARCEG Process Technology GmbH to appear in worldwide market as complete pickling system supplier.
ACREG Process Technology GmbH builds this hydrochloric acid regeneration plant according to state of the art technology and allows for a wastewater free operation. Acid regeneration plants are used for regeneration of waste pickling liquor.
Thus there are no costs for dumping waste acid and buying fresh acid and an important cuntribution for environmental protection is done.
